Our Hopes & Plans
All proceeds from fund raising projects and donations are currently
going to animal care and improving our shelter. Our current limited capacity shelter
houses homeless dogs and
cats so that they may have the opportunity to be adopted into
loving homes and receive a second chance at life, but it is in need of
considerable expansion.
We also need to hire a humane agent to represent our organization
and perform investigations. Anyone with a law enforcement background
interested in this position should contact us for more information.
We currently have one employee helping to take care of the animals.
We currently have an active foster home program and we have several
animals in the program that need homes.
The more foster homes we have, the more animals we can save.
We can always use more foster homes.
If you would be interested, please call us and we can do a foster
home application with you.
Typically, a foster family would
have the following:
- A pen or run to maintain control of the pet
- The time to play and exercise the pet
- A budget which can afford to feed the pet
- Transportation to visit the Vet if necessary
Volunteers needed!
As with all the programs of the Society, VOLUNTEERS are the most
precious and needed resource. If you wish to know more about
the kinds of activities that volunteers perform, please visit our
